The
course
The course is divided into 9 modules with each one dedicated to a particular aspect of football. The student has to solve the game realistic problems posed in the modules and then send the answer in for analysis from David Platt either by email or post. Within a very short time span for a distance learning course, feedback will be given on the answer along with a combination of help, guidance and further questioning all designed to enhance knowledge of the tactical side of the game by helping the student to solve the problems themselves, ensuring a greater understanding of the knowledge derived. Progress through each module will be done on this basis and passing from one module to the next will only be attained when both the student and tutor agree that knowledge has been attained.
This interaction is unique in the market and helps to make Advanced Football Knowledge the most in depth tactical resource available commercially.

each module please click on the relevant module below
Length of the course
The course is completed
at the students discretion. Progression through the modules
is gained only when the facilitator feels there is sufficient
understanding of the one being worked on. Whilst there is
no requirement to complete a module in any given time frame
it is advisable to do the work on a regular basis so as
to increase the ability of retaining the information and
thought processes you are using.
Outcome
Students who complete
the course should have a greater understanding and knowledge
of the game derived from their own minds which will enable
them to continue to think about things in a more logical
and lateral way and thus increase their knowledge even further.
Armed with this knowledge the chances of acquiring the FA
Coaching certificates should be greatly enhanced.
